1. What Mintage is
Mintage is software for recording and analysing your own financial information: budgets, goals, forecasts, investments and tax-related reports. It provides general information only. It is not financial product advice, tax advice, legal advice or a tax agent service. See the Disclaimer.
[Placeholder: statement regarding Australian financial services licensing — e.g. "We do not hold an Australian financial services licence and do not provide financial product advice." To be confirmed by counsel.]
2. Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your password and two-factor device secure.

- You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's consent.
3. Your data
- You own the data you put into Mintage. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service.
- You're responsible for checking imported and calculated figures before relying on them, including before lodging any return.
- You can export or delete your data at any time. See the Privacy policy.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Mintage — for example by trying to access other people's data, interfering with the service, reverse engineering it except as the law allows, or using it for anything unlawful.
5. Third-party data
Prices, exchange rates and other market data come from third parties (some unofficial) and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. We don't guarantee their accuracy.
6. Self-hosted use
If you run Mintage yourself, you're responsible for your installation, its security, backups and updates. [Placeholder: licence terms for the software.]
7. Fees

8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Mintage available but don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change features; we'll tell you in advance about changes that materially affect you.
